“Place Networking at the Top of Your Conference ‘To-Do’ List” co-authored with Nancy Kelln has been accepted for the QUEST 2010 Magazine. We were inspired to write this article based on our experiences at the CAST, Conference for the Association for Software Testing, conferences in 2008 and 2009. Both years Nancy and I were very impressed with individuals we met and the learnings we shared outside of the conference track sessions.

This article speaks to the importance of networking as the lessons that can be learned from conversations over lunch, coffee breaks and hallway chats are just as valuable as the material covered during the conference sessions.

I will be co-facilitating a workshop titled “Rowing Together Through Effective Communication” with Nancy Kelln and presenting a track session titled “Inspiring Passion in Testing Teams” at the upcoming QUEST 2010 conference in Dallas, TX on April 19 – 23.
