SQDG’s 2010/2011 Season Kicks Off

By , September 12, 2010 10:37 pm

The Calgary Software Quality Discussion Group, SQDG, kicks off their 2010/2011 season this month. A forum for the discussion of all aspects of software quality, the group meets once per month from September to June. The sessions are free but advance registration is required.

The theme for this year is “Past, Present, Future”. In an industry of constant change, this year’s theme will reflect on the past, examine the present and look to the future in all aspects of software quality. Presentations this year will speak to at least one of the three.

In August I joined the SQDG’s 2010/2011 Season Directors as their Communication’s Director. It has been exciting getting involved with this excellent group of folks. The past month has been super busy as we have designed a brand new website and established a new monthly newsletter to increase our communication with members and the Calgary community of IT professionals.

Check out the SQDG and the brand new website at www.sqdg.ca. Sign up for the new monthly newsletter on our Home page.
